Thing is, I am the biggest Prince fan here. I physically own 19 out of 27 albums from the purple one. Get on my level....
And yes the beat is hot, I like the fact that Seven actually uses keyboards and drum machines to make beats. Not knocking the FL Studio users, Im just a fan of old school hip hop when all you had were that. Takes a whole more to come up with a beat from scratch like that. FL Studio beats do knock though, so Im not hating by any means.
I AGREE...FL IS COOL, BUT I JUST FEEL IT'S MADE BEAT MAKING TOO READILY ACCESSIBLE TO ANYBODY, WHEN IT TAKES A REAL GENIOUS AND MUSICIAN TO PUT THEIR HANDS ON KEYS AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING GOOD. PRODUCING IS PRODUCING, DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT SEVEN'S ROUTINE, AS WELL AS MINE, IS WHAT HIGHER LEVEL PRODUCTION IS ALL ABOUT! ESPECIALLY IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO HIS CHORD PATTERNS WHEN HE GETS ON THE EP....THEY'RE SICK! ONCE AGAIN, GREAT WORK SEVEN!
I know this is off topic, but a throwback Wichita Rap cd just came into my store. Its that LSD joint by Joshua Ashkraft. Produced by the Beat monstas put out on Wickedtown Records. Got the bol Murcy Jream on it. And of course the artwork was done by Mr. Dante Davis. What does anyone know about this???
