Nice track, although I was skeptical at first cuz I was like "Umma Do Me" beat? Really Markie? But then I heard it and he came off on it.
BTW, that new banner is fucking sick, at first I was like "Did I took off the fucking banner?!?!" Which wouldve made me mad, since Im such a strong part of this Dub K rap scene. Then I saw me and was like "Fucking...Tizight".

Corey Jay I have no gimmick, I do have tats, but I dont think thats what makes me hot in these streets. And I dont kiss ass or suck dick (clearly from all the beef I have). If I like it Ill say it, if I dont then Ill say that too. And in all fairness, youve only had 4 or 5 songs featured on the site. Mostly everyone else has at least 15 or more songs, plus mixtapes and such. Like when Bizniz Kid was on the old banner and only had 2 songs featured on the site, it boggled me. But dont be discouraged just use it as fuel to grind harder.

I agree with Uniq its one big gimmick, and unfortunately we all gotta have some sort of gimmick to get people to care. You cant just be a dope lyricist. Rookie got the Rapper Eater thang, XV gots the Nerd/Square/Dont Fit In thing, I got the fun songs, King MC and the overally personality, Big Cliff is the Streets Governor, Kaewun is Mr Ict, Young Markie is the Dubbz Finest, TTH are well Heavyweights, Sixx is the Southsida, you see where Im getting at? You gotta have something to stand out. You cant be like "Hey Im Corey Jay, I rap, Im a lyricist" because thats not interesting. I mean I really like the shit Ive heard from Corey Jay, he just doesnt stand out too much. And I know to some the banner is just a banner, but I kinda real like Im getting some sort recognition for the shit I do when I see myself on there. But at the same time, I stay consistent, like everyone else on the banner. Corey, I know you record alot, but you cant hold shit to yaself you gotta put it out there. I had to learn to do that, cuz I wouldnt put nothing out until the mixtape or project was done. But if you really wanna be something major than strive for it. Ive never wanted to be anything. I just wanted to rap and have people like it. And its evolved into so much more. So if you want some more props or recognition put in more work. You cant be employee of the month but only work 2 days a month.

There wasn't a tryout for the banner, it's not like you got "cut" if you didn't make the banner. Were just trying to freshen things up a bit.

I made a simple observation and others took it further than it needed to go but i guess others had to validate themselves,because they were either offended by my remarks or felt they could comment cause they were on the banner.Either way,I personally know my career is not going to "pop" because of some local banner,it was more based off respect.I do put in work and do participate in this little blog site.Just felt i belonged up there.But of course i don't belong to a local label so the create of the banner is going to be a little bias on who he puts up there.Oh well i'm over it..lol

Ahem...In the preluding minutes of the performance by the GSpot boys there was a small but entertaining fight that broke out amongst 2 ladies. While watching this carry on for too long, Supafly and friends began making their way to the exit..Fly has a 13th sense for these types of things...anyway, another much bigger fight broke out moments later amongst "men" Chris Rock refers to these men as "Niggas". About 30sec into that altercation guns came out and shots were fired and everyone ran.
